Madeline Avy, died February 11, 2009, she was 98. Mrs. Avy was a 20 year resident of Thornwood, and has lived for the last 4 years at Bethel Nursing Home in Ossining.
Born in the Bronx, November 11, 1910. She was the wife of the late Harry M. Avy. Mother of Richard (Judy) Avy and Janet (Robert) Roche. Grandmother of MaryEllen (Greg) LaMonica, Melissa Lee and Paul & Mark Avy. Great-grandmother of Bryan, Sean & Abigail LaMonica, Christopher & Jack Lee.
Visiting hours Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville. Interment Ferncliff Crematory, Hartsdale, NY
