Obituary: Frances Camilli, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and life-long resident of Plesantville, died peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2009 at the Sarah Neuman Nursing Home, after a brief illness. Frances was 88 years old, the daughter of the late Frank Kazorck and Anna Latkowski Kazorck. She was the widow of Matthew J. Camilli, who passed away in November of 1973. She was also predeceased by her two brothers, Frank and Joseph, and a sister Estelle.

            Frances is survived by her children, Peter Camilli of Pleasantville, Joyce A. Tuttle, of North Creek, NY, and Nancy J. Perone of Mamaroneck, as well as by a life-long friend and neighbor, Miss Ruth Bell of Pleasantville. She is also survived by five loving grandchildren, Edward, Matthew and Rebecca Tuttle, and Lauren and Christopher Perone, as well as four great-grandchildren, Heather, Ryan, Alexis and Aalliyah Tuttle, and many loving nieces and nephews.

            A life-long communicant of Holy Innocents Church, Frances served on its Rosary Alter Society. For many years she was a devoted volunteer at Rosary Hill Nursing Home, and St. Agnes Hospital. Frances was known for her frequent walks through the Village with her beloved basset hound Penny.  Frances was also an avid world traveler and enjoyed frequent trips overseas.

            The family will receive friends at Beecher Funeral home, 413 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, Tuesday, January 20th between the hours of 2 and 4 and 7 and 9PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Innocents Church on Wednesday January 21st at 10AM. Internment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
