| Obituary:
John Steven Corso, 73, died peacefully Tuesday evening, February 24th, with children and grandchildren at his bedside. Mr. Corso, born in Brooklyn in 1935, was a long time resident of Chappaqua N.Y with his late wife Maria, and his three children; more recently he lived in Somers N.Y. A graduate of the College of Aeronautics he was a design engineer with the missile division of the Martin Company and a sales engineer with Weatherhead Hydraulic. He later became a co-founder of Power-Draulics-Nielsen where he was a partner for over 30 years. He
is survived by two sons, Anthony and Charles; his daughter Joan Ferroni;
and his four grandchildren, Charles, Maria, Emily, and John. The family
will receive friends and mourners at the Beecher Funeral Home in
Pleasantville N.Y. this Friday afternoon from 2 -4 PM, and Friday evening
from 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday,
February 28, at 11:30 AM at the Church of Saint John and St. Mary (Upper Church)in Chappaqua N.Y. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers kindly make donations in his name to the Church of St. John & St. Mary 30 Poillon Road, Chappaqua, N.Y. 10514.
