Obituary:
Harry O. Johnson of Southbury, CT and formerly of Pleasantville, NY died March 6, 2009. He was 89.
Born in France, July 14, 1919, the son of Osmund & Elisabeth Johnson.
Dr. Johnson served in the US Navy as a Pilot during WWII. Dr. Johnson was a Dentist and practiced in Pleasantville for 35 years, retiring in 1985.
He was Past President of the 9th District Dental Society, Past President of Pleasantville Rotary Club, and recipient of the Rotary International Paul Harris Fellowship.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Elsie of Southbury, CT, his adoring daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Easterly of Houston, TX, Joyce (Bob) Roth of Amawalk, NY and Hollis (Eric) Lundeen of Waldport, OR. And 3 grandchildren, Marlene and Carissa Easterly and Dayna Roth.
Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville where services will be held Wednesday 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations to Pleasantville Rotary Education Fund would be appreciated. |
