Obituary: Edward H. Guyett, 90, of Surf City, NJ, passed away suddenly on August 25, 2010. Born in Yonkers, NY in 1920 and graduated from Roosevelt High School. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps during WWII. On April 19, 1952, Ed married Marion Hayes, who predeceased him. In 1985, Ed and Marion retired to Surf City, NJ. He was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his two children, Jeanne and her husband, Louis Alagno of Thornwood, NY and Robert and his wife, Mary Beth, of Yorktown Heights, NY. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Louis, Meredith (Frank Fasano), Sarah, Caren and Brian. The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, in Pleasantville, on Friday from 5 – 8 PM. Burial will take place on Saturday at 9:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Yonkers.
