Obituary: James Michael Lynch (Styme), 62, of Tarrytown, NY and formerly of Pleasantville and Sleepy Hollow, New York died peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2010 after a long illness. Jim was the beloved son of the late Thomas and Agnes (nee Johnson) Lynch. He was born June 4, 1948 in Yonkers, New York, graduated from Yonkers schools and was a carpenter by trade. He was co-owner of Robert James Contractors. Jim was the gentlest of men. He will be remembered by all who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing him for his unparalleled endearing demeanor, Irish wit and kind heart. He is survived by his devoted sisters, Kathleen Oles (Michael), Nancy Corbett Conte (Peter) and loving brother Thomas Joseph, Jr. (Gloria). He was loving uncle to Kathleen, Suzanne, Karen, Sr. John Mary Corbett, O.P. (Jaime), Joseph, Tommy, Jennifer and Brian. Many grandnieces, as well as, a grandnephew survive, as well. His sister Mary Ann Froemel and the love of his life Patricia Uniacke predeceased him.
The Lynch family gives special thanks to all who helped with his care, especially Angela. Visitation will be June 21st, Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Beecher Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 10am at Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville. Interment is private.
