| Obituary: Mary Lynn Medonis- Mary Medonis, 50, died at home on September 26th after a very brief illness. She was born in Calgary, Alberta Canada. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Earth Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She subsequently received two Masters Degrees from Pace University, New York in Education and in Special Education. She was a science teacher at the Martin Luther King, Jr High School in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY for the last 6 years and loved working with her students. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, crafts and gardening. She is survived by her sons, Kevin and William Medonis as well as her father, Michael Luciuk of Florham Park, NJ, sister Cathy (Dave) Leber, Fort Wayne IN, brothers Jim Luciuk of Baltimore, MD and Greg (Ann) Luciuk of Hewitt, NJ and two nephews Bryan (Jennie) Leber of Fort Wayne, IN and Eric Leber of Indianapolis, IN. She was preceeded in death by her mother Sheila Luciuk and her brother Stephen Luciuk. There are no memorial services planned |
