| Obituary:
Grace A Pellerzi, of Pleasantville NY, formerly of the Bronx, entered into eternal rest on April 7, 2010. She was 94 years old. Grace was the beloved wife of the late Livio Pellerzi. She was an active parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church in the Bronx and a volunteer at the AHRC in Pelham Bay. Grace was a retired telephone operator with the New York Telephone Company. She is survived by her sister Diana A. Catanzaro of Stamford CT, four daughters, Grace (Richard) D’Amato, Elissa (James) Brisolari, Angela (Randall) Hirt, and Rosalee Pellerzi. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Lisa (Peter) Manning, Christian (Erin) D’Amato, Joseph (Stephanie) Hirt, and Diana Hirt and three great grand children, Griffin, Gretchen, and Jack Leo. The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc., in Pleasantville today (Friday) from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at Holy Innocents R.C. Church in Pleasantville. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne. In lieu of flowers and in honor of her daughter and granddaughter, please make all donations to AHRC or the Special Olympics. |
