| Obituary:
Sandra Racioppo, 54, passed away October 14th, 2010, after a 10 year battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 22, 1956 to Myra and Keith Vosburg and grew up in Pleasantville, NY. After graduating from Pleasantville High School in 1974, she continued her education at Elmira College where she graduated magna cum laude and then completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Mercy College in 1980. During her professional career, Sandy was a dedicated employee of the Briarcliff School District. Sandy was also an enthusiastic Yankee’s fan, artisan, dancer and gardener. Above all, she cherished her family and friends. Most important to Sandy was creating a warm and loving home for her two sons. She will always be remembered for her amazing smile.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Joseph Racioppo, her two sons, Paul Racioppo and Keith Racioppo, and her father, Keith Vosburg. Sandy is also survived by her sister and brother, Christine Eidel and Keith Vosburg Jr., and their spouses, as well as many nieces and nephews.
