| Obituary:
Barbara Russo passed from this life into Heaven on January 11, 2010. Those who met her know that Barbara was one of the most patient, caring and generous women anyone could be fortunate enough to know. Born to Irving and Helen Prince on November 4th, 1968, she grew up in Mount Vernon, NY. On October 10, 1997 Barbara married Michael Russo and together they began a family, residing in Thornwood, NY. From their wedding day up until the moment she passed, Barbara lived her life on this earth for her family – a beloved daughter, loving wife, devoted mother to Taylor, and caring stepmother to Kristyna and Sarah. A cherished sister to Lisa, Brian and Robert, and sister-in-law to Jackie, Anthony and Anita, Barbara will also be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews: Joseph, Dayna, Steven, Nicole, Rachel, Rosette and Jack. Although Barbara’s life ended while she was still young and vibrant, the impact she has had on her family and closest friends will never be forgotten. The family will receive friends today (Thursday) at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Church in Valhalla on Friday at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rye Brook. |
