We regret to announce the sad demise of Thomas J. Smyth of Pleasantville NY on February the 9th 2010. Thomas J. Smyth was born on July 15th 1944 to Thomas and Anna Smyth (Deceased) of Kew Gardens NY, brother of Ann M. Smyth (deceased), and resided in Queens where he attended Archbishop Molloy High School, and later St Johns University Queens NY. He is survived by his wife Yvette Smyth of Pleasantville NY. Stepchildren, - Athena Chandy Hopkins- Sean Hopkins, grandsons, Sullivan, James and Benjamin Hopkins of Cooperstown NY, Nadine Chandy of Forest Hills NY, Angelique Chandy of NY, NY., and Joshua Chandy- Suzanna Chandy, of Bloomfield NJ. The family will receive friends on Friday, Feb 12th at Beecher Funeral Home Pleasantville NY 10570 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Innocents R.C. Catholic Church, Pleasantville, NY 10570, on Saturday, Feb 13th, 2010 at 11 AM. Dearly missed by his grieving family.
