Sister Mary Louise Fernandez, born in Manhattan on July 6, 1927, died suddenly on August 19, 2009. Sister Louise was a Sister of Charity of New York, a teacher and librarian who served in schools throughout the boroughs of New York City. For thirty years she was librarian at Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx and has been a resident of Elizabeth Seton House in Chappaqua since 1994. Wake, Sunday, August 23 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Beecher Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville.
