| Obituary:
"Robert E. Lodes, a long time resident of Thornwood, NY passed away on September 6, 2009. Born February 2, 1926 in Mt. Vernon, NY to the late George and Carmen (Bonnett) Lodes. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country during WWII as an acting First Sargent and officially discharged as a Tech Sargent. Mr. Lodes graduated from Columbia University and achieved his CPA license. He finished his career as Senior Vice President and Partner with Schulman Realty Group.
Mr. Lodes was a long time member of Westchester Hills Golf Club, an avid gardener, card player and followed the stock market with passion.
Mr. Lodes is survived by his loving wife Evelyn, of 59 years and his three children, Carole Aksak (John), Claudia Voaden, and Robert, Jr. (Patti) and nine grandchildren. Survived by brother, John B. Lodes.
