| Obituary:
Ida Alice Miller passed away on November 19, 2009 at 89 years old. She was born on January 31, 1920 in Lowell, MA to Joseph and Clorinda Silva and attended schools in New Hampshire and Mt. Vernon, NY. She was married to the late William J. Miller and was a longtime resident of Pelham, NY and later moved to Briarcliff Manor, NY. Ida was employed in nursing at New Rochelle Hospital and after having children, a devoted mother and homemaker. Ida and William were very active parishioners at the Sacred Heart Church in Mt. Vernon, NY. She was the beloved mother to Glenn (Norma) Miller and Barbara Miller Seminara, and proud grandmother to Lauren, Nicole, Cristina, and Amanda Miller. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, William, sister Olinda Silva, and loving son-in-law, Edward Seminara. She will be missed by all who were touched by her caring, gentle spirit. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Beecher Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery where interment will follow immediately. |
