| Obituary: Kathleen P. O’Brien of Somers, formerly of Wantagh, NY passed away on September 13, 2009. She was born in the Bronx to Frank and Anna Maginnis Hickey on January 5, 1926. She is survived by her beloved and devoted husband Thomas C. O’Brien, who she married on October 7, 1950, sons James of Amittyville, Christopher (Kim) of Lincoln, CA., Thomas (Andrea) of White Plains and her daughter Eileen (Kevin) of White Plains and nine grandchildren Micaela, Kevin, Colin, Deirdre, Keira Lyn, Tommy, Stephanie, Tyler and Danny. The family will receive friends at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, White Plains on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11AM at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church in White Plains. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. |
