Obituary:
Florence Vasey, died December 19, 2009. The daughter of James & Mary Moynihan she was born January 31, 1925 in NYC. Raised and schooled in White Plains she graduated from Brenau College in Gainesville, GA. She was married June 26, 1949 to William L. Vasey who died Jan. 2, 1978. She was a member of Twigs Thriftree of Northern Westchester Hospital, Mt. Kisco Country Club and Atlantis Country Club of Atlantis, FL. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law James & Rita Vasey, her daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Martin Downing, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 4-7pm at Beecher Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 10am at St. John & St. Mary’s (lower) Church, Chappaqua. Interment will follow at Fair Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her name to the Northern Westchester Hospital Foundation, Mt. Kisco, NY, 10549 would be appreciated.
