| Obituary:
Woods, Joseph M. –54, died November 9th. He is survived by his Mother Phyllis; brothers Peter F. and Barry; sister Donna; niece and God-child Kerrie; nephew Peter G.; niece Veronica; great-nephews Keenan and Devlin; and his beloved pet Roxie. Joe was a loving, kind, and caring person who had an incredible green thumb. In 1970, Joe participated in the Boy Scouts of America International Jamboree in Japan where he survived a typhoon and came home with new Japanese eye-glasses. He started his career in the supermarket industry working for Shopwell and most recently worked for Stop and Shop. Joe will be remembered as a father figure to his extended family and friends and an outstanding chef. He was a gentle person that took on the world and had too little time to enjoy all of his hard work. Joe will be missed, loved, and always remembered. His funeral service will be Monday at 12:30pm at Beecher Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville, NY. |
