Coping with Grief

The staff at Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. has always been sensitive to the area of the healing process. It has always been thought that you have to hurt to heal. We encourage our families to explore different areas of effective grief resolution. The first year after a death is normally the hardest time for families to overcome grief because it will be the first time you will share special occasions without this person. During the first year families should take things one day at a time and try to avoid making "big decisions" during this time.

If we can be of any assistance in helping to inform you of grief support meetings, provide you with literature to help you through the grieving process, or to help you get in tough with a grief counselor, please feel free to call us at anytime.
