| Obituary:
Harold S. Keith of Pleasantville, NY died July 8, 2009. He was born in North Easton, Ma on Jan 15, 1920. Mr. Keith proudly served in the Navy from 1939 until the end of WW II. He was present at the attack on Pearl Harbor, served in the South Pacific and was present during Naval operations at the invasion of Sicily and Normandy. In 1949 he married Mary Cox of County Mayo, Ireland. They lived in Thornwood until moving to Pleasantville in 1994. Mr. Keith was a retired computer technician at Sperry Univac. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne where he was president of the Holy Name Society and sang in the choir for 40 years. He is survived by his wife Mary, son Michael, daughter Karen and her husband Ron D’Ambrosio, grandchildren Kristin and Steven D‘Ambrosio. Visitation is 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, Friday July 10 at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville. Funeral mass Saturday, 9:30 AM at Holy Rosary Church, Thornwood. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. |
