| Obituary:
Mary L. Smeriglio a longtime resident of Port Chester & Rye Brook passed away June 9th at the age of 100. Mary was one of seven children, born on February 20, 1909 in York, Pa. to Domenico Morganti and Natale Morganti. She married Amedeo (Al) Smeriglio in 1933. He predeceased her in 1967. Mary is survived by her son, Alfred J. Smeriglio of Rye Brook and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, Thursday, at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church in Port Chester. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rye Brook. |
